    About This Conference

    The third annual COMPASS Summer Institute from the Minnesota Department of Education — a free, in-person conference for over 1,500 Minnesota educators focused on improving literacy and math outcomes through the Minnesota Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MnMTSS) framework. Designed for district leaders, school administrators, instructional coaches and classroom educators from early childhood through grade 12, with session strands on MnMTSS systems-level implementation, Tier 1 instruction and Universal Design for Learning, Tier 2/Tier 3 intervention systems, culturally responsive instructional leadership, literacy and the READ Act, math vision and standards, family and community engagement (FACE), early learning, and American Indian education. Lunch provided; registration free (2026 registration closed with a wait list).
