    About This Conference

    The Idaho Art Education Association's annual fall conference for K-12 visual art educators, held at BYU-Idaho in Rexburg. Two days of hands-on art making and teaching through short-format sessions and long-format master classes, plus statewide and regional networking on best practices in art education. Featured artists Joseph and Melinda Ostraff present "Building Meaningful Collaborative Art Experiences" and lead workshops on large-scale collaborative Mylar drawing and indigo dyeing for the classroom. Early bird registration $130 IAEA member / $160 non-member. A vendor registration form and session proposal form are open, and IAEA publishes letters of support (for art educators and general education teachers) to help with district PD approval. Group hotel rate at SpringHill Suites by Marriott Rexburg at $129/night, bookable through Sep 15, 2026.
