About This Conference

A two-day Christian professional development conference for early childhood educators, hosted by Concordia University St. Paul, the Minnesota South District of the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod and the Early Childhood Planning Committee. The programme pairs spiritual enrichment — worship and devotional time — with continuing education sectionals for programme directors and teachers of children from birth through kindergarten, covering developmentally appropriate practice, play-based language and literacy, and trauma-informed care (Develop-approved training, KCF Area IX). Keynote speaker Dr. Drew Gerdes (Concordia University, Nebraska) explores the practices and philosophies of Fred Rogers and their relevance to today's classrooms. Two-day registration was $175 early ($200, then $210 later), one day $100–$135, and students $50 per day.
