NCME Special Conference on Classroom Assessment 2026

About This Conference

The 6th NCME Special Conference on Classroom Assessment, a bi-annual gathering of researchers, K–12 educators, test designers and education partners sharing evidence-based ways to improve classroom assessment practice and research. Hosted by the University of Minnesota College of Education and Human Development with the Minnesota Department of Education and the Minnesota Assessment Group. Plenaries, breakouts and hands-on Assessment Learning Stations centre equity, relevance and learner empowerment, alongside an optional guided visit to Bdote Mnisota, the Dakota sacred place of creation. Limited $750 travel grants are available to presenting members with acute financial need.
