About This Conference

"Beyond the Margins" — the Virginia Association for Teaching, Learning and Leading's annual conference, the premier teaching, learning and leading event in Virginia for all roles at all levels across the Commonwealth. A pre-conference workshop on Dec 1 led by Dr. John Almarode explores Visible Learning and the science of learning, followed by the main conference Dec 2–3 with keynotes from Shawn Kanungo and Krystal Allen, educational sessions and hands-on learning with ready-to-use instructional strategies, current research and trends. Pricing: pre-conference workshop $195, conference $375, or both for $525, with flash sales offering early-bird pricing during the weeks of Labor Day and Halloween. The call for proposals is open and a discounted room block is available. Note VATLL operates a no-refund policy, though registrations are transferable.
