Virginia CEC Conference 2026

About This Conference

The annual conference of Virginia CEC, the state unit of the Council for Exceptional Children, running 8:00am–5:00pm each day for special educators, related service providers, administrators and higher-education faculty supporting children with exceptionalities and gifts. Sessions cover evidence-based practice, IEP and compliance guidance, inclusion, behaviour supports and transition planning, alongside networking with Virginia CEC special interest divisions. The call for proposals is open. A discounted room block is available at the Holiday Inn Virginia Beach North Beach (group code COI).
