A one-day summit for Wisconsin social studies teachers and curriculum leaders exploring the enduring significance of the United States Constitution and its role in American self-government. Participants examine how constitutional principles shaped the American founding, how they continue to influence contemporary civic life, and effective strategies for teaching constitutional government in today’s classrooms. Features a keynote by JMC scholar Raul Rodriguez on the relationship between the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. Breakfast and lunch provided; participants receive a $150 stipend upon completion.
