Safe Schools and Communities Conference

About This Conference

A two-day event hosted by the Kentucky Center for School Safety, open to principals, law enforcement officers, school administrators, school safety coordinators, DPPs, school mental health professionals, and school personnel. Free of charge and offered on a first-come, first-serve basis. Features keynotes on school safety, threat assessment, and a parent’s perspective on school safety, plus sessions on threat assessment planning, mental health, recovery after tragic events, medical marijuana, family reunification, and legal updates. Attendance includes membership in KYASRO and the Kentucky DARE Association for law enforcement participants; EILA credit is offered for educators.
